Running NC Coastal Explorers in Microsoft Internet Explorer

To make sure that the NC Coastal Explorers runs properly on your internet browser, you may need to change the Internet Explorer popup blocker and security settings.

Turning Off the Pop-Up Blocker

To turn off the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Turn Off Pop-up Blocker:

If your browser uses the pop-up blocker that comes with the Google toolbar, you will need to turn off that pop-up blocker.  First click on the "Options" button in the Google toolbar:

When the "Toolbar Options" window opens, make sure that the box for "Popup Blocker" is not checked:

Changing the Security Settings

You should also check the security settings in your Internet Explorer browser.

First, in the toolbar at the top of your Internet Explorer browser window, go to Tools > Internet Options:

Next, click on the "Custom Level" button to check your browser's security settings:

Scroll down the list and make sure that "Active Setting" is set to "Enable":

Now your Internet Explorer browser should be set up to run NC Coastal Explorers correctly.
